If you are not a skier, there are still plenty of activities to enjoy in the winter.
Fly through the air on Wildcat's ZipRider or down the slopes on the Mountain Coasters at Attitash and Cranmore. Travel the Mt. Washington Auto Road aboard their SnowCoach to above treeline for a truly unique winter experience. Snowtubing is available at Great Glen Trails, Black Mountain and Cranmore or try our very own sledding hill with your own tube or sled. Grab your snowshoes and explore the 788,000 acre White Mountain National Forest or rent a pair and explore the trails of a nearby nordic center. Ice skating is available either indoors or outdoors including our very own outdoor ice rink. Horse-drawn sleigh rides are a winter tradition in this area. Wrap up in a blanket and travel along the river at a nearby farm. Apres-ski entertainment is available at a number of area pubs and ski areas.
