Spring is an exciting time to be here! The hardy can enjoy some spring skiing in Tuckerman's Ravine followed by a round of golf. Everyone can enjoy the greening of the Mt. Washington Valley as everything comes to life after a long winter. Waterfalls are crashing with snow melt from the mountains. Rivers and streams are flowing and stocked for fishing season to get under way. There are plenty of areas within minutes of our location for some thrilling fly fishing. Area attractions begin another season on Memorial Day weekend... a sure sign that summer will soon be upon us. Take a minute to look through our Calendar of Events for a listing of area activities.
For many, it is the best time of the year!

Bicknell's Thrush has been identified as a focal species of management concern because it is one of the rarest, most range-restricted species in North America. This bird is confined to high altitude conifer forest habitats found primarily in the far northeastern United States and adjacent areas in Quebec and Canadian Maritime provinces. Nearby Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the northeast at 6,288', is one of two known habitats in the northeast for this rare bird.
There are six scheduled two hour tours in June starting at the Mt. Washington Auto Road at 6:00 a.m. which is about ten miles north of Jackson Village in Pinkham Notch. June 12th is a 3 hour tour and a $25.00 per person surcharge will be added to your package. This tour includes a segment on Wild Flowers.
